QDE Award 2024

the Questione di Etichetta (Matter of label) competition is back after 10 years

THE WINNER

Lisa Perbellini

Lisa Perbellini and her project “Twenty-one years of aging on the lees, time has sculpted Excellence” won the first prize of the sixth edition of the Questione di Etichetta competition, organized by Mosnel with the patronage of ADI – Association for Industrial Design and with the partnership of Fedrigoni, a historic Italian brand synonymous with excellence in special papers. The image created by the Veronese designer will dress the limited edition and packaging of the one hundred numbered bottles of Franciacorta Brut QdE in magnum format.

THE WINE

Franciacorta Brut MIllesimato 2001

The wine chosen for Questione di Etichetta is the Franciacorta Brut QdE 2001, a wine with a 23-year history behind it and more than 21 years of aging on the lees. A Franciacorta that still has a lot to tell, today more than ever, and that shows that time gives authentic emotions only to those who know how to wait. Franciacorta Brut QdE 2001 is available exclusively in magnum format and in one hundred numbered bottles.

“For the sixth edition of Questione di Etichetta, which returns after ten years – explains Lucia Barzanò – we chose the work created by Lisa Perbellini thanks to the ability to synthesise the graphic design and the meanings that are made explicit and that unite elements of the territory and sustainability. The graphic sign, moreover, is particularly effective, powerful, dynamic and contemporary. The judges’ opinion was almost unanimous: we all agreed that the image fully represented the spirit of Mosnel and the value of time, a factor that has always distinguished our philosophy”.

The winning project will dress the 100 Magnum bottles of Franciacorta Brut QdE 2001.
